Meet Ringo!

Ringo is a Ring-tailed lemur. They originate in Madagascar and are known for their black and white ringed tails. They are definitely one of the more sassy lemurs! Ringo was a rescue we received as a youngster who was extremely underweight and fed an incorrect diet. He has improved since being here although he still has trouble eating the correct foods. He is so much fun to watch play! Lemurs are very active and enjoy jumping from object to object. Ringo usually finds the highest vantage point in the house to monitor his surroundings. Lemurs are extremely vocal! He and the dogs have learned each others languages and they easily tell us if someone is approaching the door before we ever know. Lemurs can also be very territorial and for that reason Ringo is not allowed to interact with the public. He is however able to go on outings to certain places and is extremely fun to watch!
