Meet the Maras!

Welcome to the ranch Squeaks, Skittles, and Sprinkles! Did you know that Patagonian Maras (sometimes known as cavys) are actually a rodent? These fun, happy, furry little rodents are native to Argentina. The Maras are herbivores and mostly graze on grasses in their natural habitat. Here on the ranch they have free choice hay, grass, pellets, and LOVE their kale and carrots. They walk on leashes and enjoy an afternoon outing. When they return to their enclosure, they get an animal cracker as a treat! These three will stay together for life. We adore their personalities and cannot wait to watch them grow up together.
